Calling All P6s and P7s - Let's Celebrate!
There's a birthday coming soon!
But it's not for a person - it's a birthday for a book - my new book! It's called Walking Mountain, it's coming out in June, and I'd like you to help me celebrate!
I'm coming to visit Queensferry Primary on Wednesday to talk about my new novel and the journey it's been on so far. I'm really excited about it, and I hope you will be too, because ... I'm going to be handing the book launch for Walking Mountain over to you!
Every book launch/book birthday has the author reading a bit and smiling a lot and thanking people - there's always lots of people to thank! - but what else could there be? How about some artwork? Could there be some what-happened-next stories or poems? Or maybe acting out a scene from the book?
How would YOU like to celebrate my new book's birthday in June? Whatever you come up with, I know it'll be great. The best book birthday ever!
